Red, White and Blue - Challenge 291

Hi All ....

It's time for our Challenge #291 at Little Red Wagon

This week, it was my turn to choose a theme and I was thinking Red, White and Blue, representing Memorial Day.  I realize it's passed, but show us what you have created as of today in a Red, White and Blue theme.  Can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

I just love this little girl sitting on the curb waiting for the Memorial Day parade to pass by ... She's from Mo's Digital Pencil and she's called "Waiting for the Parade".

I used Copics to color her and kept the back a little on the simpler side since I'd like to mail it to one of our servicemen or women as a Thank You for all they do.

Looking forward to seeing all the beautiful projects you create using Red, White and Blue - it doesn't have to be patriotic.

Make sure you hop over to the rest of the girlfriends to see what they've come up with for this challenge.

Blessings,

Collette

Challenge #290 - To Die For

Hello Everyone!

It's time for Challenge #290 at Little Red Wagon.  It is my turn to choose this week's theme and I am going with my favorite technique - die cutting.  I call this challenge TO DIE FOR.

Almost everything on my card today has been die cut - but you just need to die cut one thing.  I am admittedly a die cutting overachiever!!!!

I can't wait to see your creative use of die cutting.  You can use a manual or electronic die cutter.    Be sure to join in the fun and share your project with us. And be sure to visit the other girlfriends' blogs to see what they have created to share with you.

Challenge # 288 - Distress It!

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday. Tracy here and there will be no stressing over this week's challenge. That's right, this week it's all about DISTRESSING IT!

Go ahead and ink everything. Fray those edges or tear up that pretty paper. Work a little creative magic with distress ink or get messy with paint or other craft mediums. DISTRESS IT up to your heart's content!

Here is my card, using an image from The Paper Nest Dolls called Maddie with Glasses. I used Distress ink for all my paper and also had fun with tearing the paper and roughing up the edges!

All fun and no stress, with this week's DISTRESSING IT challenge.  Check out the projects being shared by our fab Girlfriends. So many amazing projects for that little kick of inspiration. Link up your new project below, then stop back on Tuesday (May 11) to see our selected features for this challenge.

Have a super crafty day!

Tracy
