Challenge #437~ Focus on Family

Good morning. It's Heather and it's my turn to hostess the challenge this week. I've been thinking a lot about family lately and decided we needed to do a challenge all about it. So you can interpret that any way you like but the way I see it is projects (and they don't have to be just cards....a scrapbook page would work great for family) featuring family members or something specific for a family member (eg. Happy Birthday Mom). Clear as mud? LOL!

Here is what I did.  My card features two boys that I am seeing as brothers and it is for a Mom.

So check out what the other girlfriends have linked below and then it's your turn to show me a family project in the link up.

Have a great day!

Featured Speech Bubbles

A huge THANKS to everyone who entered our "Speech Bubble" Challenge. We loved to see your awesome projects !
All entries are unique but this card caught my eye because of the color choice. The pink and blue looks so great together:

Congratulations, Lola ! Please feel free to grab the Little Red Wagon "Featured" badge from the sidebar and display it proudly on your blog.
We hope you will all join us in one of our next Challenge.

Challenge # 436 - Say it in Speech Bubbles

Hi there, it´s Wednesday and time for a brandnew Challenge at Little Red Wagon. It's me, Imke - I am your hostess for this week and I hope you like my topic:

"Say it in Speech Bubbles"

I think there are many possibilities here as well - so bring out your dies, stencils, scissors and ....and....and....just be creative and have FUN !

Now it's your turn, please link up your project below ! I'm looking forward to seeing your projects and visiting you on your blogs.

Featured Projects - Thanks a Latte

Thanks to all who played along with last week's Thanks a Latte challenge. I had a craving for a sweet hot drink as I was admiring them all - but it was too late for anything!

I enjoyed all the projects (as I always do) but here are a couple that caught my eye especially.

Congratulations, Ladies! Please remember to grab the badge from the sidebar to post on your blogs.

Challenge #435 - Thanks a Latté

Happy Wednesday! This week's challenge is all about hot beverages - whether it be coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider, lattes, etc. In some way, please feature a hot beverage (so no little mug tucked in a corner). How you interpret the challenge is up to you though. Perhaps you'll make a pretty box for specialty teas or a gift bag for hot chocolate and marshmallows. Perhaps you'll create a gift card holder for your favourite coffee shop. Or, perhaps you'll create a card with a hot beverage taking front and center, just like I did.

There's a link up below and you've got a week to join us. I'm looking forward to seeing your creations and visiting your blogs to comment on your projects. I can't wait to see what you make!

Go Green Featured Projects

We had a couple of interpretations of Go Green for the last challenge and since I was the queen of the challenge I say everyone did a great job on both the upcycle and the go green in color angle.  Here are the ones I especially loved -

Wonderful cards, ladies please feel free to grab your badge from the sidebar.  I hope to see you all in our next challenge which will be up in a little while!

Go Green

Happy Wednesday! If it's Wednesday, it's time for a new challenge here at Little Red Wagon. This week I would like to see something recycled or upcycled. It can be anything from a ribbon or lace you got from a Valentine goodie or a piece of cardboard or previously used paper. If you've ever had a card turn out less than what you expected, salvage the image and use it this week.  The sky is the limit, if it lived a previous life use it on your creation, it counts. Remember, it doesn't have to be a card to enter.

Here's my card -

The background paper for this card is a piece of scratch paper, you can see the old print in the background. I used this paper to clean metallic paints off my brayer and loved the way it looked. In real life it has a wonderful metallic sheen.  If you could see the back of this cute little angel, you would see that she is stamped on the opposite side of an digi image I didn't use.

Hopefully you have some idea of how you can create and upcycle for our challenge. If you need more ideas, I know the Girlfriends are going to rock this challenge, so give them a visit. I hope you'll join us this week, can't wait to see what you create!
